In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have
designed the following meal plans for the 2008-2009
academic year. If you need to purchase additional Cougar Cash, simply contact the Sodexo office in the KCC
Building. You can add money there or at any register. The Cougar Plan is part of your housing charges.. Prorated charges apply to residents that withdraw from housing before the semester ends. ALL Meal Plan selection / changes need to be directed to Andrew Pollom in the Residential Life Office.

2008 - 2009 meal pLAns
- CU Plan ($100 additional cost per semester)
14 meals per week + $400 in Cougar Cash per semester.
In the CU Plan, the allotment of meals expires weekly.
Dinner meal exchange is available outside of Crossroads
Dining Room hours of operation at Charlie T's. No breakfast or lunch
meal exchange. Limit of one meal during lunch or dinner meal times.

200 Meals per semester + $200 in Cougar Cash per semester
- Maroon & Gold Plan ( Reduction of $200 per semester)
120 Meals per semester + $250 in Cougar Cash per semester
Applies to the Cougar and Maroon & Gold Meal Plans
Students may exchange any numbers of meals for $5 per meal in Cougar Cash.
Students may reallocate meals to Cougar Cash until Friday October 3, 2008 for the fall semester and February 27, 2009 for the spring semester.
Students are allowed to utilize an unlimited number of allotted meals at any given meal.
Meal exchange is available at each campus food service outlet during all hours of operation.
A meal exchange is one of the pre-determined meal replacements.
Default Meal Plan is the COUGAR Plan.
Applies to all meal plans
Meals do not carry over from fall semester. No meal equivalency.
Cougar Cash may carry-over from first semester to second semester unless opting for a lower plan the second semester. All fall semester Cougar Cash balances are forfeited if changing to a lower plan the second semester
Student Teaching/Internship Meal Plan
___50% allotment of any of the above meal plans. Discount depends on plan selected.
Students must be involved in a full-time, off-site, student teaching or internship position to apply for this discounted plan.
Applications must be submitted to and approved by the Dean of Students.
All meal plan selections can be changed up to the first day of class of each semester.
Meal plans must be changed in the Housing Office.

schedule, studying, extracurricular activities and social events
interfere with dining? Will you miss dinner due to
employment or evening classes? Anticipating the answers to
these and similar questions will help you to select a meal plan
that best fits your lifestyle.
IMPORTANT INFO
Meal Cards
Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you
to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent
to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works:Your ID
Card is the "key" to unlocking all the privileges of being on a
meal plan. Lost Your Meal Card?
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this
happen to you get to the CougarNet Office on the 2nd floor
of the Library. There is a $35.00 replacement charge.
Seconds Anyone?
You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our
Campus Dining Program. Our generous policy allows for a
second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is
ask! Please note, however, there are some exceptions to our
Seconds Policy including Steak or Shrimp night.
Welcome, Guests
Have a guest over for dinner! You are welcome to bring a
friend or family member for any meal. Guest meal prices are
as follows:

Dietary Requirements & Sick Trays
Do you have particular dietary needs? Our Campus Dining Services
Program can accommodate most of your special
dietary requirements. This feature requires direct student involvement in menu choices on a daily basis. For more information,
please contact the General Manager at x 3340.
Dining Policies & Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean,
comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to
meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the
following procedures:
- Please bus your tray and disposables from your table
when you have finished dining.
- Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from
the dining area.
- Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal
cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
Cougar Cash
- Money put on your ID card at a cash to card station is not
Cougar Cash.
- Cougar Cash cna be added at any time. Stop by the Sodexo Office in KCC.
- Allocation of Cougar Cash varies by student housing status and plan selection.
Special Attention
Should you find it necessary to obtain a sack meal due to student
teaching, class conflict, or work schedule, please contact a
Food Service Manager (ext. 3340) to obtain assistance.This lunch, or dinner will count as one of your meals on your board
plan. OR Click on the forms to the right and bring them to the
Food Service Office in KCC. Fill out the Choice form for each
meal you need.
Fall 2008 will bring different optionsand new forms. Sack lunch = Meal exchange to go.

In Case of Illness
You may arrange for your roommate or friend to deliver your food
if you are ill and unable to eat in the dining hall.This meal
will count as one of your meals on your board plan. Simply have
your roommate or friend bring your ID card with them and request
a “To Go” container from the cashier.
To Go Policy
- If you are requesting a "To Go" container
for someone that is sick, you must bring their card with you.
- If
you need a "To Go" container for class or work conflictor just because,
you need to ask for it as you enter the dining room.
- Leave personal
containers such as mugs and Tupperware containers at the cashier station.
- Cups/containers are not given out for after meal food/beverage consumption.
